If you are one of the folks Jim Streng identified as mid century modern (mcm) enthusiasts when he started building homes, you know the magic we all find in mcm architecture, design, furniture and art. If you are like me, you love a home where the inside and the outside become one. You love clean lines, natural materials and lots of glass. You get excited when you see a house with a flat roof. You get why someone would prefer a carport, even if your mcm house has a garage. You think plywood can be art. You love breeze blocks, overhanging eaves, atriums, exposed aggregate sidewalks and skylights. You want these great homes celebrated and preserved. This is your place to hang out.
